The 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship follows the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier. Before a duelists can compete in the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship, they must first register for the Qualifier and meet the registration criteria. Once registered, it's time to compete for a chance to be the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Champion.

About the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship

In order to compete in the in the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship, competitors must be one of the final 32 duelists from each of the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Regional Qualifiers. The 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship consists of two main components. The first four rounds (Round One (round of 64), Round Two (round of 32), and Round Three (round of 16), are held online in head-to-head play. Beginning with Round Five (round of 8), the final 8 duelists are eligible to travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota for the finals on Sunday, July 11, 2010. About the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship

The 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championships are being held this summer in the United States! The US Champion and the runner-up travel to the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championships in Long Beach, California. The dates for the World Championships are Friday, August 13th, 2010 through Sunday, August 15th, 2010. At the World Championships, the US Champion and Runner-Up will compete against the best duelists from around the world including Asia, Europe and more. Just like the US Championship, duelists competing in the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championships will play head-to-head using a Nintendo DS™.

About the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship Head-To-Head Play

During the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier and the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship, all online head-to-head play is conducted within the designated "Play Window" (The Play Window is the agreed to time frame when tournament duels take place). The higher seeded duelist selects the play window. The lower seed must accept the Play Windows or be disqualified.

The two duelists must be ready to play at the selected Play Window with their copy of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2010 game loaded into their Nintendo DS™ and be connected to the Internet on their Nintendo DS™. Failure to be ready to play at the appointed time will result in immediate disqualification.
