June 30, 2010: The 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship tournament has moved from Saturday, July 10, 2010 to Sunday, July 11, 2010. The location and the excitment remain the same. Check back here for updates.

The 2010 Tournament Continues Online Head-To-Head Play

For the third year in a row, the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier and 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship tournaments are featuring head-to-head play on the Nintendo DS™ via the Internet. Registrants who qualify will first take a quiz that tests their knowledge of Yu-Gi-Oh!, but the quiz is only the beginning. The top scorers in the quiz move on to duel head-to-head in online competition and ultimately play face-to-face in the live portion of the 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Qualifier
Tournament is about to begin.
The qualifier consists of two
parts. It begins with the Quiz
where registered participants
must demonstrate their knowledge
of Yu-Gi-Oh!, including Yu-Gi-Oh!
game play. Part two is the
four regional head-to-head
qualifiers tournaments.

The 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship
Tournament takes the top 32 duelists
from the each 2010 Yu-Gi-Oh! US
Regional Qualifiers and pits them
in online head-to-head play for the title
of US Champion. The final 8 participants
are eligible to travel to the 2010
Yu-Gi-Oh! US Championship finals in
Minneapolis, Minnesota.
